A homemade skin blend is surprisingly easy and does not contain any toxic chemicals.
Before I was aware of essential oils, I would run to use an antibiotic ointment for every wound I got. Little did I know that what I was putting on an open wound was doing me no good. In fact, the ingredients in most over the counter wound ointments contain toxic chemicals. The EWG’s skin deep database has classified some ingredients to be endocrine disruptive and cause organ system toxicity.
What’s even more scary, is that antibiotic ointments may contribute to antibiotic resistance.(R)
Try this super EASY-to-make skin support blend instead. It is totally FREE of toxic ingredients. Just make sure you are using a 100% PURE essential oil. (Neve buy an essential oil from your local drug store.)
This multi-purpose skin spray blend can be used for many issues like: dry skin, eczema, rashes, minor cuts & scrapes, diaper rash, bug bites, burns, bruises, and razor burn. It’s a great idea to have this blend handy!

Hello. I have lavender and Tea Tree oil, what can I use in place of Frank?
Great oils! There is really no alternative to Frankincense, I would recommend investing in a really high quality Frankincense oil.
I only have a 4oz spray bottle. Do I double the recipe?
yes
Can I use this on a 1 year old?
That would be a question for your pediatrician. I personally used this on my baby. Use your best judgment. 🙂
Can I make this into a roller ball? I don’t have any glass spray bottles. Can I use a plastic one?
Hi Shannon! Yes! you can make this into a roll on blend! I just found spraying the wound was much more comfortable than rolling something over it. Stay away from plastic though. Essential oils have the ability to break down plastic. Stick to glass or stainless steal options. 🙂
Would the drops be cut in half if using a 1oz glass bottle? Or what about a roller – how many drops would be used for a 10ml?
Thank you!!
Yes, I would cut the recipe in half for the 1oz bottle. You can use the same recipe for the 1 oz bottle in a 10 ml roll on.
Is maleleuca oil tea tree oil?
Yes Melaleuca is tea tree oil!
