Lip Blush
Lip Blush tattoo is used to enhance the natural lip shape, symmetry, and colour. A customized pigment is applied to add definition to your lips and conceal imperfections based on your skin tone and personal preference.
Your lips will look like lipstick on the first day, and soften as they heal to become a very subtle, natural looking lip tint. Apply a little gloss or balm and your lips look beautiful 24-7!
If you are prone to cold sores, lip tattooing can cause outbreaks. I ask that my clients take their prescribed anti-viral medication a few days prior to their appointment and after the procedure to prevent any cold sores.
If you have an outbreak, or any other type of scratch/acne we ask that you reschedule your appointment.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
- There may be moderate swelling, redness and bruising for the first 3 days.
- If you experience swelling, use an ice pack for no more than 15 minutes at a time to reduce swelling.
- During the initial healing period, there should be minimal scabbing or flaking of the skin. If there is some scabbing or flaking, do not pick, and allow the scab or dry skin to come off on its own. This usually takes place within the first 3 days.
- Expect the color to lighten up to 50-70% once the healing process is complete.
- Color may appear uneven at different stages of healing. Be patient. This is a process that does not yield immediate results.
- Permanent makeup ink is not the same as body art ink, and by design it does not last as long as body art ink. Permanent Makeup does fade and is expected to last 2 to 5 years before requiring a touch-up. Maintenance touch ups are suggested for best results.
- It can take 2 or more sessions to achieve the level of saturation you may desire. Touch ups are not included in the cost of the initial Lip Blush procedure.

Lip Blush with 3D effect – $625
6 week touch up session (highly recommended) – $100
*Perfection touch up session -$75
*only after two sessions have been done. This may be necessary especially for color correction of dark/discolored lips.
1-3 year touch up session – $375

-on blood thinning medication

-HAD BOTOX WITHIN A 4 weeks prior (in lip area)
-HAD AN ORGAN TRANSPLANT
-EPILEPSY
-SICK WITH A COLD OR FLU LIKE VIRUS
-USED ACCUTANE IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS
*IF YOU’VE RECEIVED THE COVID VACCINE, YOU WILL NEED TO WAIT UNTIL 2 WEEKS AFTER YOUR LAST INJECTION.
IF YOU HAVE ANY AUTOIMMUNE CONDITIONS, YOU WILL NEED A DOCTORS NOTE GIVING THE OK TO PERFORM TREATMENT.

Over time, powder brows naturally soften and fade. When it’s time for a touch-up, the brows should retain their shape but with a softened color. It’s normal for the hue to shift slightly, as tattoo pigments can change over time.
In this case, you may notice slight variations in color because she had previous microblading done by another artist before coming to me for correction. Since her previous microblading was soft enough, I was able to correct the color, reshape, and apply a powder brow treatment to achieve a more polished look. (I’ll also point out that we did Lip Blushing on her as well)
For clients without any previous brow work, powder brows tend to fade more evenly. After 2.5 years, we performed a light touch-up on her brows to refresh the color and add subtle boldness while maintaining a natural appearance once healed.
I also wanted to show you how powder brows look during the healing process. Surface healing takes about 7-10 days. During this time, a thin layer of natural ointment is applied to support the skin and speed up the healing process. The ointment is used daily for one week.
